SAIL Dialogue on Internet Safety
Background
Misinformation poses a growing challenge to public trust, democratic institutions, and informed decision-making across Southeast Asia. The SAIL Dialogue convenes policymakers, technology platforms, researchers, and civil society to examine the state of disinformation in the region and chart a shared path forward. This event presents key findings from SAIL’s research program and opens a forward-looking conversation on collaborative solutions.
Event Objectives
- Present new research and policy briefs on the state of misinformation in Indonesia.
- Outline SAIL’s expanding research agenda across Southeast Asia.
- Facilitate dialogue among government, industry, researchers, and civil society on collaborative strategies to address information disorder.
