In response to the growing threats posed by persuasive technology, the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) hosted a workshop in Jakarta on July 10th, 2024. The workshop aimed to deepen understanding of persuasive technologies and to formulate policy recommendations for governments. Key objectives included raising awareness about the implications of persuasive technologies, consulting on policy ideas for the Indonesian government, and preparing for future cognitive warfare challenges.
