We are excited to announce that our session, “Charting the Path for a Regional Fact-Checking Coalition in the Asia-Pacific,” has been accepted for APrIGF 2024! Join us on August 21, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM (local time) at the NTUH International Convention Center in Taipei City. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation.

In this session, we will discuss strategies to combat information disorder and explore the benefits of forming a regional fact-checking coalition. This initiative aims to address the growing challenges of misinformation and disinformation in the digital age.

We will bring together experts from various fields to foster collaborative solutions and establish effective practices for fact-checking across the Asia-Pacific region.
