Information Resilience & Integrity Symposium

Hosted by the Safer Internet Lab (SAIL) and the Center for Digital Society (CfDS), the Information Resilience and Integrity Symposium (IRIS) brings together researchers, policymakers, civil society, and tech platforms to explore how the Asia-Pacific can address the opportunities and threats of generative AI. These include online fraud and scams, political manipulation, foreign information manipulation and interference, and rising surveillance. The symposium fosters regional collaboration and inclusive multi-stakeholder dialogue to strengthen governance and resilience.

IRIS will be held as a hybrid event. The in-person program will take place at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and all sessions will be streamed live via the YouTube channels of Safer Internet Lab (SAIL) and the Center for Digital Society (CfDS).

No, attending IRIS is free of charge. However, participants must register and receive a confirmation email to be eligible for entry.
